Fill Up Before Empty

August 22, 2014

Stopped to get gas before heading to work, and though the gas was the same price and I put the exact same amount in, the needle didn’t move to the same spot. I knew my tank was empty, but I couldn’t gauge how much. Such as it is with us, we can be so empty that it takes much more to get us up to par. This is a reminder that self care is vital, and we must be intentional about not waiting until we are completely empty before refueling. It’s the weekend, so I’m looking forward to another #WowGodDay. Make time for a massage, read a book, take a nap, watch your favorite movie or spend a few moments to pray and have a FILL-UP-BEFORE-EMPTY FRIDAY!!!
