Muddle Through

June 2, 2014

Last week I heard the phrase “muddle through” several times as it related to an increase in workload and a decease in manpower. My initial understanding was that it meant to handle everything as efficiently and effectively as possible in the context until conditions change. To my disappointment, it actually means “to push through to a favorable outcome in a disorganized way”. Now I’m all for a favorable outcome, but that disorganization piece is one I could care less about. Then that moment of frustration became a moment of inspiration as I realized that many things in my life were chaotic at one point, yet they all came together. This is nothing more than a reminder that ALL things work together for the good of those that love the Lord and are called according to HIS purpose.
