Think on These Things

It is days like today that Philippians 4:8 becomes an affirmation of hope. My timeline has been filled with friends losing immediate family members right before the holidays. There are friends breaking up with their significant other or filing for divorce right before these large family get-togethers. Bill collectors have increased the frequency of their phone calls as if they know that you not only can’t afford to pay their bill, but provide your children a little Christmas cheer as well. Depression and suicide amongst our elementary and middle school children is at an all time high. Even in the midst of it all, I’m determined to have a #WowGodDay. Let’s remember that Philippians 4:8 reminds us that “finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about
such things” as a message of hope and have a THINK-ON-THESE-THINGS THURSDAY!!!
