Forgiven of the Past and Fastening to the Future

December 6, 2013

Forfeit means “something lost or given up as penalty for a fault, mistake, etc; relinquish”. In a game, a forfeit is usually when one team doesn’t show up so the other team wins. Such as it is with life at times. The enemy shows up, but we don’t; and we end up forfeiting our dreams, goals, desires and aspirations. In addition to that, we allow our past sins to cause us to forfeit as well because we end up penalizing ourselves by beating ourselves up with guilt over what we did instead of walking in freedom because we’ve been forgiven. Today let this serve as a reminder to not forfeit our purpose any longer over our pasts, but to move forward now to secure our futures. That being said, I know it will be another #WowGodDay simply because we made it through the week. Join me and let’s have a FORGIVEN-ABOUT-OUR-PASTS-AND-FASTEN-TO-OUR-FUTURE FRIDAY!!!
