Shift

October 20, 2013

Sometimes we try to give people and situations the benefit of doubt so much so that the red flags we see our now flaming. Instead of submitting to God’s will, we are stepping on God’s toes and attempting to make the people, places and things in our lives line up with the desires of our hearts. Unfortunately, when this is being done we do more harm than good, and end up with shaken faith and shattered hearts. Though it may be difficult, we need to admit our feelings yet change our focus so that we can shift. We may really want a particular job at a particular company, but if there is more stress than success it may be time to shift. The man or woman that we are with may be everything we have prayed for, but if there is more conflict than caring it may be time to shift. The ministry that we are a part of at church may line up with our gifts and talents, but if there is more worry than worship it may be time to shift. This is just a reminder that when we see the signs, let us trust the source and make the necessary changes to shift. *I know easier said than done* Today will be another #WowGodDay simply because I had one yesterday. Join me and have a SEE-THE-SIGNS-AND-START-THE-SHIFT SUNDAY!
