Time to Breathe 10/15

October 17, 2013

I never quite understood the phrase “waiting to exhale”. While we are waiting to exhale, surely we will eventually stop breathing. Yeah, that might be a little corny, but sometimes life can be so overwhelming that we need to take time and breathe. Boss and coworkers acting crazy at work? Before doing something to get fired or up and quitting, take time to breathe. Children seem to think they’re the adult and not the child? Before doing something to harm them, take time to breathe. Significant other or spouse jumping up and down on that last nerve? Before doing something that is regretful take time to breathe. Church folk acting more hellish than holy? Before saying something that you will have to repent for later, take time to breathe. Yes, life can become overwhelming, but let us relax, relate, release, and take time to breathe. I completed my midterm last night, so it has already started off as a #WowGodDay. Join me and have a TAKE-TIME-TO-BREATHE TUESDAY!!!
